Bermad 110 Series Solenoid Valves
The BERMAD solenoid valve includes a hydraulically operated diaphragm with an internal hydraulic loop.
Model IR-110-N1-2W opens and closes depending on the electrical signal that causes the coil to open or close the inner hydraulic loop.

Principle of Operation
In its closed position, water enters the diaphragm opening into the upper surface of the membrane. The pressure above the diaphragm is balanced with the supply pressure, which closes the valve. Applying voltage to the solenoid coil will raise the core. The pressure above the diaphragm is lowered and the water pressure in the valve inlet raises the diaphragm and the valve is in the open position.
