Droughts can severely affect the yield of soft fruit plants, which are highly sensitive to a decrease in the availability of soil water due to the large mass of the plant above the ground relative to the shallow root system. Even short dry periods can have a significant negative effect on growth and fruitage. These plants grow and set fruit best in soils with high humidity, for which we can provide the proper irrigation and fertilizer distribution system.

In soft fruit crops we work with blueberries, strawberries, currants and Kamchatka berries. We use integrated drip lines with spacing of 0,2 – 0,5 m and discharge of 0,6 – 1,6 l/h, pressure compensated or not, depending on terrain topography and length of rows. For frost protection we use sprinklers with a radius of 10m.
